The mental effects of acne are very diverse. For some, it barely has any effects. For some, it has a very positive motivational effect in order to change the person’s life around and to not fall under expectations by others. But for those I’m most concerned about, acne can ruin that person’s feeling of self confidence and prevent that person from being successful in life due to social avoidance and general lack of acceptance by peers and people that matter to the person afflicted with the condition in life. That is why I feel that it is necessary to have the best acne treatment available for anyone suffering from the condition as early on as possible. It is not something that “everyone goes through”. It is something that should be treated seriously and seen as a real disease that should be treated.
