Gout is a form of arthritis that affects the big toe and can occur to most anyone.  It usually is a result of some of the foods that you eat and you should try to stay away from certain foods.  If you are on a gout diet then you should not eat red meats or organ meats because these are strong contributors to gout and can really make it worse or make it last for a much longer period of time.  By avoiding these foods, your gout will get better.
