when I was a sophomore in college I roomed with a girl named Judy. She was a year younger then me and it was her first time away from home. I noticed that Judy developed a hair pulling disorder during that first year at school. At first, she began pulling out the hair on her head and then she moved on to her eye lashes and eye brows. I am quite certain that all of this was due to stress, almost like a nervous tick. She never even seemed to know she was doing it until somebody would point it out to her.
