The beginning of self improvement came from a very strange place, that I am sure not too many people are aware of. It really is a fascinating story. Perhaps there are those that would happily label this simple tale to be a conspiracy of sorts, but I am not a believer in such wild and crazy, secretive plots. Ah yes, my tale… approx. twenty years ago, in the depths of a government funded “think tank,” several researchers and scientists came up with a revolutionary idea to help the general public regarding matters in which they not be entirely familiar with… thus they came up with the idea of self improvement tools and products.
