But I really noticed the difference after using it.

A bacterium that helps in the formulation of acne, propionbacterium acnes, is also stopped by creams and cleansers that contain benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid. These ingredients are used to remove the additional oil in the skins pores. For this reason, they can be a little too drying on those with sensitive, dry, or mature skin.
