I have five children. With the birth of my second child, seven years ago, I decided that I would start using cloth diapers. This was mainly due to the expense of disposable diapers. I started adding up how much money it would cost us over the course of a year to raise two children in diapers and the cost was quite eye opening. The cost, with the knowledge that disposable diapers do not break down in landfills for many years, made the decision very easy for me. Once you get used to using diapers made of cloth, you would not go back to disposable.
