Our neighborhood is usually very safe. Recently, a home was burglarized, and the occupants were injured in the process. They may have been killed, if it hadn’t been for the watchdog of a local business. The dog is kept inside of the fence at a local junkyard. This is to deter thieves from coming in and stealing expensive parts. Apparently the dog heard the disturbance next door, because he jumped the fence and tore the neighbor’s door down. He bit the burglars, until they ran off. The blood on the front lawn and roadway led cops to their hideout. They were apprehended and arrested. In honor of watch dogs, this one in particular, our community is erecting a statue. The dog involved is a Doberman, so to show our appreciation for his actions, the statue will be designed with him in mind.
