I recently attended a local Iron Chef competition at a resort hotel near where I live.  We stayed for the weekend, made a min-vacation out of it.  The competition was a a lot of fun to watch.  The audience was asked to cast the prize votes for the winning chef.  Everyone in attendance sample the wonderful cuisine that the talented chefs turned out.  The presentations were incredible!  My husband really enjoyed himself too.  He asked me to sign up with the hotel to be sent an invitation to next years event.  The best part is the whole thing is tax deductible since the proceeds went to charity.
