There are quite a few CDL job opportunities out there, and you may be surprised by how different the pay is for each one. The fact is that if you have a commercial driver’s license, your services can be worth a lot to both the general public and private entities.

Generally speaking, the more dangerous the cargo, the more it pays. For example, drivers hauling propane on cross-country trips can see over a hundred thousand dollars per year. On the other hand, your small-time city / town area cargo driver might not see 50,000 dollars a year.

As such, it is vital that you have the most endorsements on your CDL so you can take advantage of opportunities when they come up.
