If you learn to read Spanish, you’ll want to print articles or read books that have accompanying English sub-text. This sub-text is critical to understanding what the written material is saying. Otherwise, you’ll laboriously thumb through a Spanish-English translation dictionary for every word. No one intended for you to learn Spanish this way. There are even faster ways to learn online. For example, there are Spanish-language articles with accompanying English sub-text. The Spanish-language words are hyperlinks, however. Therefore, you can select one, and it will give you an audio-based pronunciation as well. This hybrid method is only possible online, and it’s the single best way to learn to read Spanish. The stale method of offline reading is a relic of yesteryear.
