Taking Danielle to summer camp for the first time meant days of organizing her gear, as well as time spent calming her fears and answering her many questions.  Would she get to pick the horse she wanted?  What time would she have to get up in the morning?  Would the food be good?  Should she bring her own riding helmet and trail saddle?  Some questions I could answer, others I had no idea.  The closer we got to camp, the more frequent the questions.  We must have taken the right things, the food must have been good, and the morning wakeup call not too brutal as all we have heard about since her return is how much fun she had.  Took a couple of days for her to rest up, but now she is back to normal and looking forward to next years’ camp.
