The Windows registry is the notorious filing system where the operating system stores all the preference and settings files for your software and hardware.  Without the registry these programs will not run, and Windows will also have a hard time running properly.  People with cluttered and corrupted registries often wind up with errors, crashes and freezes.

The best way to find the best registry utility is to search the internet for registry cleaner reviews.  These reviews will allow you to see which program will give you the best bang for your buck.  My favorite registry repair program is RegCure by ParetoLogic.  This program will allow you to easily clean the registry of errors and streamline your PC.  When I used it my computer ran much better.
