The Windows registry is a complicated filing system of preference and settings files for the software and hardware that resides on your PC.  Most people really have no idea they even have a registry on their computer let alone what it does or how it can cause problems.  The good news is that you don’t really have to know much about computers in order to solve registry problems.

You can use a Vista registry cleaner in order to clean up the files that have collected in the registry and cause Windows to bog down.  This is  a very simple process if you use a good software program.  For example, the best registry cleaner in my opinion is RegCure by ParetoLogic software.  I use it on my laptop at home.
