If you are having computer troubles such as frequent crashes, freezes, slow bootups, and error messages, you might be having a problem with the Windows registry.

The Windows registry is like a file system where most of the computer’s settings are kept for hardware, software, and the operating system itself.  These files are vulnerable to corruption from viruses, as well as clutter and disorganization from general dynamic usage of the Windows operating system (meaning normal usage such as the installation and un-installation of new programs and hardware).
