It doesn’t take long to learn popular Spanish greetings. I have never studied Spanish, but I know many popular greetings. I learned them from my daughter who is currently taking Spanish in high school. I can say hello, introduce myself, ask a person’s name, and say goodbye. It didn’t take me long at all to learn. I think I learned all of them in just one evening. I can’t carry on a long conversation, but I can at least greet people with something more than a smile.
