Every time I turn around, it seems that the price of an airline ticket is on the rise. Every other week it seems like there’s a new rule to follow at the airport. And, every other week it seems like a new fee is added to your initial cost. It could be a fee for an extra bag or it could be a fuel surcharge. There doesn’t seem to be an end in sight for the increases. So, with the current cost of flying, I will never book a trip without also purchasing travel insurance. If something happens to negatively affect my travel plans, I won’t be left in the lurch. My insurance will help and I won’t lose money on my trip.
